Fetta is a fresh cheese that is ready to consume the day after making. It is brine salted and can be stored in the brine for up to 6 months. Fetta has traditionally had a very salty flavour owing to it being stored in brine. As the cheese ages the texture will harden slightly and the salt flavour can increase. Ashgrove Fetta is a white coloured cheese with a mild lactic flavour. The texture is firm but not hard ensuring the Ashgrove Fetta is suitable for a range of culinary purposes.
