We were super excitied to support Sustainable Living Tasmania’s Living Local Feast, fundraising dinner on April 2nd in Hobart. Now in it’s 6th year, this feast features 100% Tasmanian ingredients, a true celebration of Tasmanian food. This year chef Hugh Flint was on board to help create an amazing spread. Hugh is passionate about local produce and creating taste sensations that highlight the region and season.
Sustainable Living Tasmania (SLT), has worked for more than 40 years to create happy, healthy and sustainable Tasmanian communities. In recent years, the SLT team have focused on improving food security & energy efficiency in Tasmania through projects such as the Tassievore Eat Local Challenge and the Get Bill Smart Project as well as our flagship event, the Sustainable Living Festival.
The Ashgrove team love that SLT are all about encouraging Tasmanians to support our growers and local businesses and celebrate Tasmania’s bounty. The Living Local Feast is an opportunity to experience the wonders of Tasmanian an island state through a gourmet 3-course meal consisting of entirely Tasmanian ingredients and Ashgrove is very proud to supply our farmhouse butter, milk, cheese and cream.
