Elizabeth Town Tasmania – Ashgrove Cheese Pty Ltd announces certification as an Organic Processor and immediate launch of fresh Ashgrove Tasmanian Organic Non-Homogenised Milk.
Presently, the Tasmanian supply chain does not support Tasmanian Organic Dairy farmers. This opportunity has enabled Ashgrove in assisting value within the supply chain. Through the certification of the Ashgrove milk and cheese factory and on-boarding direct ‘farm to factory’ organic milk supply to process into premium value Ashgrove Tasmanian Organic dairy products.

Ashgrove Tasmanian Organic milk will be hitting the Tasmanian Independent Retailer (TIR) shelves December 1. Followed by the release of Ashgrove Tasmanian Organic Cheddar Cheese and Ashgrove Tasmanian Organic Blue Cheese.
- Ashgrove Factory gained Certification as an Organic Processor August 2017 by The National Association for Sustainable Agriculture, Australia (NASAA);
- Ashgrove onboarded two Organic certified Tasmanian dairy farms October 2017. Who supply daily fresh organic milk direct to the Ashgrove processing factory;
- The Farms are situated in the pristine regions of Heybridge and Mount Hicks North-West Tasmania;
- Dairy is the 2nd most purchased organic product and one of the fastest growing (Australian Organic Market Report 2017).
