Ashgrove are proud to announce we are donating 70 litres of milk every week to support Hobart City Mission’s Safe Space program, helping the needs of our homeless population.
Clients at Safe Space have been using powdered milk in tea, coffee and on cereal so our Tassie farm fresh milk will be very welcome!
“When Hobart City Mission approached Ashgrove for help, we didn’t hesitate!
With our new milk depot in Hobart, Ashgrove feel lucky to have the ability to support in this way. I personally have noticed an increase in the number of people sleeping rough in Hobart over the past year. It was something I’d previously only seen in big cities on the mainland.”

Safe Space is at the YouthARC space in Collins Street, provided free of charge by the Hobart City Council. As well as providing shelter, Safe Space aims to connect clients with longer-term housing solutions through Housing Connect, as well as other support and healthcare services.
