The Tasting Trail North West Tasmania returned for another unforgettable weekend from April 11 to 13, 2025, and one standout highlight was the Ashgrove Cheese Dairy Door activation—a family-friendly hub of fun, flavour and farmyard charm that delighted visitors of all ages. 

A Weekend Full of Fun, Flavours and Mooing

Set against the rolling green backdrop of North West Tasmania, the TrailGraze weekend (part of the Tasting Trail experience) brought together food lovers, artisans and curious travellers for three days of tasting, touring and exploring local produce. 

Ashgrove Dairy Door embraced the spirit of the event with a lively activation that quickly became a must-visit stop on the trail. From morning through the day, families streamed in to enjoy sensory delights and whimsical farm-themed fun.

Kids’ Corners and Farmyard Fun

The Ashgrove team upped the family-friendly vibes with engaging activities designed especially for young visitors. The Kids’ Corner buzzed with laughter and creativity, offering interactive play, colouring, and farm-inspired games that brought the dairy experience to life. Every child who visited before midday was even offered a complimentary carton of farm-fresh milk, making smiles that much wider! 

And of course, there was lots of mooing—not just from the friendly cows visible beyond the paddock, but echoed in the playful energy of kids and adults alike as they soaked up the experience. 

Delicious Tasmanian Dairy & New Flavours

Foodies were kept busy with Ashgrove’s renowned pasture-to-plate delights. Fans savoured everything from rich cheese toasties to the launch of Ashgrove’s new house cheesecake gelato—a creamy hit for both young and old. 

Whether it was indulging in a cheesy flight, grabbing a gelato cone, or picking up award-winning produce to take home, the Dairy Door offered plenty of delicious reasons to linger.
