We’re Honoured to Receive the EPA Sustainability Award (Industry) 2025
We’re proud to announce that Ashgrove Cheese of Elizabeth Town has been awarded the EPA Sustainability Award (Industry) 2025 for our work in sustainable dairy production.
As a family-owned Tasmanian dairy, we’re committed to smarter farming through our Eco Milk initiative. In partnership with agri-tech innovator Sea Forest, an Ashgrove Farm introduced a native seaweed feed that reduces methane emissions from cows by around 25%.
Eco Milk is recognised both nationally and internationally, bringing choice directly to customers. By choosing Eco Milk, people can make a tangible difference through everyday choices. This initiative also strengthens Tasmania’s clean-tech economy, supports local jobs, and shows that family businesses like ours can lead in innovation.
